Gaffoor credits her supportive colleagues and fulfilling career with helping her channel her natural gumption and moxie into success as a dynamic, driven businesswoman.

XBIZ: How does Nasstoys tap your talents? Are any two days on the job alike?

Gaffoor: My official title at Nasstoys is Canadian Sales Representative, and I’m based in Toronto, Ontario. But in reality, I go wherever I’m needed, whether that means flying across the country, driving long distances to visit stores or hopping on video calls with buyers and store staff. My work is very dynamic. Some days I’m working from home with my laptop, other days I’m at the gym between meetings, and sometimes I’m tucked into a cozy café writing presentations or emailing clients. I also travel frequently to represent Nasstoys at trade shows, which is always an exciting and energizing part of the job.

XBIZ: How did you find your way onto the Nasstoys team?

Gaffoor: I started working for Nasstoys in February 2024. The sales manager, Meghan Beck, saw me and instantly knew I’d be a great fit for the team. She later told me she had come across me online and had a gut feeling about me. From the moment we connected, everything just clicked. We often end up sharing a room when we travel for work, and it honestly feels like a grown-up sleepover. We stay up late chatting about life, goals, the industry and even our skincare routines. It’s a very special bond, and having someone like Meghan in my corner makes the job feel that much more meaningful.

XBIZ: What surprised you the most when you first began your career in the industry?

Gaffoor: Discovering how many people here are just like me. We’re open-minded, easy to talk to and nothing really shocks us. We laugh at the things others might find uncomfortable, and we connect in such a natural, unfiltered way. The people I’ve met have become like a second family. There’s a shared understanding that we’re all here to help people feel good, confident and curious. It’s an incredible feeling to be part of something that celebrates fun, health and empowerment without shame.

XBIZ: What do you enjoy the most about your role at Nasstoys?

Gaffoor: Sharing my knowledge. I absolutely love educating others, whether it’s training retail staff, creating social media videos or answering questions from customers. Helping people feel confident when recommending or buying our products gives me a real sense of purpose. Every day brings something new and unpredictable, and that variety keeps me inspired and motivated.

XBIZ: Who has been your greatest mentor in the pleasure industry?

Gaffoor: I’m lucky to have two incredible mentors: Meghan, and Elliot Schwartz. Meghan is more than a colleague. She’s a safe place, a boss babe and a friend who always shows up when I need her. She’s wicked smart, full of heart and so experienced in this industry. I genuinely feel supported, encouraged and empowered just by being around her.

Elliot, our fearless leader, is the heart of Nasstoys. Despite being the “big boss,” he’s incredibly approachable and personal with everyone. He’s a social butterfly who always takes the time to connect. When he calls just to say he’s proud of me, I can’t even explain how good that feels. He’s a natural storyteller with such a rich history in the business, and I love learning from him.

XBIZ: What has been your proudest accomplishment while at Nasstoys?

Gaffoor: Honestly, it was just getting hired. That moment felt like the beginning of something really special. Since then, I’ve been given opportunities to do things I never imagined, like writing marketing material, giving product presentations, doing live shows and training retail teams across the country. Being asked to be the face of the brand in different spaces still shocks me a little, but it also lights a fire in me. It feels powerful, exciting and deeply validating.

XBIZ: How are you hoping to grow your career over the next few years?

Gaffoor: Looking ahead, I want to continue expanding my knowledge in sales, marketing and customer education. I want to get even more involved in the finer details, like understanding consumer behavior, tapping into what end users truly want and shaping how we speak to people about sexual wellness. My goal is to elevate how people think about this industry while building strong, trust-based relationships with retailers and customers alike.

XBIZ: How has being a woman in the industry helped shape you into the person you are today?

Gaffoor: It’s changed me in the best way. I’ve become this fabulous mix of girly, eccentric and empowered. I’m proud of the work I do. Being a woman in the adult industry has helped me step fully into my own identity, not just as a fun, quirky person but also as a confident businesswoman. I’ve found where I belong.

I even told my extremely overprotective dad what I do. I told him, “I’m a sales rep for a sex toy company.” His response? “You’ll never get married with a job like that.” And you know what? That’s okay. No man farting in my bed every night? Sounds like a win to me!
